The Essence of Easter - Jesus Christ our Lord: The Gift of Salvation
Acts 10:36-43

Once again, as we journey unto Easter, to celebrate the time set apart for the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, let us give thanks to our Lord for His sacrifice! He didn't have to, but He did! That's the whole essence of everything that we profess and Yearly Easter Celebration

Christ paid it all and all to Him we owe...., He hung on the cross, took several stripes and was nailed to the cross between two criminals despite being innocent and mocked and scoffed at, till He gave up the ghost!

Then He was placed in a tomb for three days after which He rose triumphantly from the grave - taking captivity captive! HALLELUJAH
Eph 4:8

For my sake , He did all these and now I need not suffer again but I now reign victoriously and in Majesty because of all He did for me (and for you all who have also received Him) Amen.

Reign on our Conquering King!!!

Our posture should therefore be nothing short of Thanksgiving! HALLELUJAH

Constantly rejoicing in that victory which Christ has given to us. We bless you Lord and will forever be grateful to you for this victory. We cannot thank you enough Lord but we do appreciate you for laying down your life for us and shall never take such grace for granted. May your grace continue to keep us in Jesus'name ‍ AMEN

By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
I John 3:16

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

So they went out quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring His disciples word.
Matthew 28:8

I will greatly rejoice in the Lord , My soul shall be joyful in my God; For He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness. As a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
Isaiah 61:10

Although this is an Old Testament scripture but it sums up a picture of what Christ did for us - We rejoice and give Thanks.

“The Lord lives! Blessed be my Rock! Let God be exalted, The Rock of my salvation!
II Sam 22:47

My Savior, Redeemer and Friend. Thank You for saving me.

And as we rejoice in the Cross and all that it stands for, let's remember the reason for the season and intercede for the peace of Nigeria, Ukraine, Jerusalem and other nations of the world where the devil is stealing, killing and destroying.
